Cinéma Vérité

A genre of documentary film, so-called "Actuality film". Cinéma vérité emphasizes the actual circumstances of the scenes, underrating the formal means of screenplay, editing and lighting.

The earlier Cinéma vérité and the later, so-called Dogma film, have some interesting theoretical connections.
