classical Greek literature genre "epic" is passed
on to the film as epic structure.
This refers to a dramaturgically broad, narrative form, where
the scenes are loosely connected to each other.
Some
examples of epic drama genre, or epic film: Lawrence of Arabia,
Gandhi, 1900 and The Last Emperor.
