The
middle of a film usually tells the story through the
plot and amplifies it before the acceleration and resolution
of the action in the end.
The
middle can also be called the second act of a three-act film.
The second act
usually lasts about 2/4 of the duration of the entire film.
Thus the middle of a two-hour film lasts about an hour.
