Tripod

A three-legged adjustable stand supporting a camera and enabling its steady movement. It is usually made of metal or composite material with an attached head, adjustable hydraulically or otherwise, enabling steady panning and tilting.

• panning: moving the camera horizontally
• tilt: moving the camera vertically
