ratio of the width of the picture to the height; the measurements
defining the screen measurements. The film projected on the
screen can vary from a "television-like" 1,33:1
(or 1,37:1) to a very long rectangle (e.g. CINEMASCOPE) such
as 2,35:1. The contemporary screen aspect ratio is usually
1,85:1.
