Action field, field, shot composition

The action field means the formally structured contents of film expression, which comes usually under the responsibility of the cinematographer.

The elements within the frame are organized according to the frame shape and the movements within the frame.

Action field defines the relationship between the elements within the frame, regardless of the framing (the chosen ratio and framing).
