In deep focus picture the objects both near the camera and far
from it can be simultaneously seen as clear and sharp.
Deep focus was used successfully in Orson Welles' film "Citizen
Kane" (USA/1941). However, Welles did not invent the
deep focus, but could utilize it effectively and creatively
in his film expression (cf. Creativity,
Creation).
